How complete each record is
Of your 2,302 journal articles, how many carry each piece. These are Crossref's own published figures for your membership — anyone can look them up, including the people who assess your journals. Crossref counted them on 23 Oct 2026, 04:44 IST. It recounts about once a day, so anything deposited after that time appears at its next count.
| What | How many carry it | Share | Missing | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reference lists | 1,780 of 2,302 | 77.3% | 522 | Citations link your articles into the literature. Indexes and every discovery service read them. |
| Licences | 1,972 of 2,302 | 85.7% | 330 | DOAJ requires a licence statement it can read by machine. |
| Abstracts | 2,038 of 2,302 | 88.5% | 264 | How a reader finds the article at all — and what most databases display. |
| Author affiliations | 1,482 of 2,302 | 64.4% | 820 | Where the authors work. Scopus and Clarivate score international spread from this. |
| ROR IDs | 1,029 of 2,302 | 44.7% | 1,273 | The standard identifier for an institution, so affiliations match across databases. |
| ORCID iDs | 370 of 2,302 | 16.1% | 1,932 | The author identifier. Carries credit to the right person for ever. |
| Full-text links | 1,939 of 2,302 | 84.2% | 363 | Lets Crossref, and text-mining services, reach the article itself. |
| Similarity checking | 1,939 of 2,302 | 84.2% | 363 | Declares that the article was screened for plagiarism. |
| Funding | 0 of 2,302 | 0% | 2,302 | Who paid for the research; funders check this. |
| Award numbers | 0 of 2,302 | 0% | 2,302 | The grant number beside the funder. |
| Funder ROR IDs | 0 of 2,302 | 0% | 2,302 | The funder as a standard identifier. |
| Crossmark | 1,943 of 2,302 | 84.4% | 359 | Tells a reader, on the article itself, whether it has since been corrected or retracted. |
This record as one metadata completeness score, beside large publishers and all of Crossref →
The gap list reads Crossref's live listing of your journal articles — up to 5,000 records (5 requests of 1,000, Crossref's maximum per request); a publisher with more gets the first 5,000 as Crossref lists them, and the file says so. A finished list is kept for 6 hours, so a second download inside that time asks Crossref nothing; a fresh read counts as one lookup (12 an hour from one place; 60 for a signed-in account). The file carries this table's figures and says, per element, whether the live list reproduces them.
DOIs registered each year
Your journals, by DOIs registered
Counted from the ISSNs Crossref has seen deposits under. A journal you publish that has never had a DOI does not appear here — which is itself worth knowing.
What this adds up to
Never deposited at all: Funding, Award numbers, Funder ROR IDs. Not one of your 2,302 journal articles carries these.
On fewer than half your records: ROR IDs, ORCID iDs.
This page reads only what is public. It does not say whether your journals are well run — it says what a database sees when it looks you up, which is the first thing every index does.
